Creepy Stories presents five original stories featuring monsters, creatures, and things that go bump in the night. Each story is approximately 1,500 words and ends at a thrilling cliffhanger. Writing prompts lead kids to write their own endings (or their own complete stories). The book is not just stories. It’s also a locking journal: a plastic spider, molded in midnight black, clamps the book closed. Kids use a key (which comes attached to the book) to open it.
